Lesedi Local Municipality invites South African unemployed graduates to apply for the Internship Programme 2025 within the Finance Department. These are 24-month contract opportunities aimed at giving graduates practical experience.

1. Financial Management Interns (x3)

Requirements
- Matric plus a 3-year Degree/Diploma (BCom/BTech) in:
- Economics
- Accounting
- Auditing
- Risk Management
- Must be computer literate.
- 0–1 year of experience required.

2. Internal Audit Interns (x2)

- Matric plus a 3-year Bachelor’s Degree/National Diploma (BCom/BTech) in:
- Cost and Management Accounting
- Financial Accounting
- Forensic Auditing or Auditing
- Risk Management
- Information Systems or Information Technology (BSc IT)
- Higher Diploma or Postgraduate Diploma/Honours will be an advantage.
- 0–1 year of experience required.
Key Responsibilities
- Gain knowledge of both external and internal audit functions.
- Risk management and corporate governance.
- Exposure to municipal processes, public sector environment and IT governance.
