Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for a wide range of cash processing duties, including:
- Receiving cash deposits and updating applicable systems
- Preparing cash on the relevant system
- Checking bags or containers for damage or tampering
- Processing deposits according to bank SLAs and standard operating procedures
- Sorting notes and balancing deposits
- Reporting shortages, surpluses, and differences to the Team Controller
- Performing reconciliation of rejected and processed deposits
- Handling desktop deposit processing
- Processing sachets and coin deposits
- Supporting bank system integrated deposit processing
- Processing payroll and change transactions
- Assisting with prepack and treasury duties
- Managing equipment according to standard operating procedures
- Supporting governance, quality standards, and organisational culture
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 with Maths Literacy
- Previous cashier or teller experience of 6 months will be an added advantage
