About the Hollard Learnership Programme

The Hollard Unemployed Youth Learnership Programme is designed to help young South Africans gain practical workplace experience, develop industry-related skills and work towards a nationally recognised NQF Level 4 Insurance Qualification.

The programme combines theoretical learning with practical workplace exposure and mentorship from experienced professionals in the insurance industry.

What the Learnership Offers

Successful learners will:

  • Participate in a structured 12-month learnership programme.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be South African citizens.
  • Be between the ages of 18 and 28.
  • Have completed Matric / Grade 12.
  • Be currently unemployed.
  • Not be currently studying.
  • Not be registered for another learnership programme.
  • Be willing and able to learn.
  • Communicate fluently in English.

Matric Subject Requirements

Applicants must meet the following academic requirements:

  • English: 60% or higher
  • One other language: Passed
  • Mathematics: 50% or higher

Alternatively, applicants with Mathematical Literacy should have:

  • Mathematical Literacy: 60% or higher
