Limpopo Department of Public Works Bursaries 2027

The Limpopo Department of Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure invites qualifying South African citizens who are residents of Limpopo Province to apply for the 2027 Bursary Programme.

The bursary programme is aimed at students who intend to study in fields linked to infrastructure development, engineering, construction, property and related disciplines.

Bursaries are available for studies in the following fields:

  • Quantity Surveying
  • Building Engineering Science
  • Architectural Science
  • Construction Management
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Town and Regional Planning
  • Civil Engineering
  • Landscaping / Horticulture
  • Property Science / Real Estate
  • Land Surveying
  • Geographic Information Systems

What the Bursary Covers

The Limpopo Department of Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure bursary covers:

  • Registration fees
  • Tuition fees
  • Prescribed books
  • Meals
  • Accommodation at the university and/or accredited student residences

Who Can Apply?

Applicants must be:

  • South African citizens.
  • Residents of Limpopo Province.
  • Applying for one of the approved fields of study.
  • Planning to study at a SAQA-registered tertiary institution in South Africa.

Previously disadvantaged groups and people living with disabilities are encouraged to apply.

Documents Required

Applicants should submit the application form together with the following supporting documents:

  • Certified copy of South African Identity Document.
  • Proof of residence.
  • June or September school report.
  • Full academic record for students who are already studying at a tertiary institution.
  • Parent or guardian proof of income, or an affidavit if the parent or guardian is not working.
  • Acceptance letter from a SAQA-registered tertiary institution in South Africa for the course applied for.
  • Conditional acceptance letter may also be submitted.
  • Matric results may be submitted later once they become available.

How to Apply

Application forms can be collected and submitted at the Limpopo Department of Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure Head Office and district offices.
