About the Internship Programme
The Civilian Secretariat for Police Service is offering a 24-month non-renewable internship programme for unemployed South African graduates.
Applicants must have completed a relevant:
- National Diploma
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Honours Degree
The qualification must be obtained from an accredited institution of higher learning.
Applicants must also not have previously participated in an internship programme in the Public Service.

General Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be unemployed South African graduates.
- Have completed the relevant National Diploma, Degree or Honours Degree.
- Have obtained their qualification from an accredited institution.
- Not have previously participated in a Public Service internship programme.
- Meet the qualification requirements of the internship they are applying for.
Preference may be given to candidates whose appointment promotes representativity in terms of race, gender and disability.

The CV should include information such as:
- Positions previously held, where applicable.
- Employment dates.
- Key performance areas.
- Main duties and responsibilities.
