About the Ruwacon Bursary
Ruwacon is offering bursary opportunities for the 2027 academic year to students pursuing selected qualifications in construction, engineering and the built environment.
The bursary is aimed at students who will be entering their second year, third year or postgraduate studies in 2027.
Successful applicants will also gain practical exposure to construction operations, including site activities and tender processes.

- Civil Engineering

- Project Management
- Quantity Surveying
- Surveying
What the Ruwacon Bursary Covers
The bursary will provide support for:
- Study-related expenses.
- Development costs.

- Practical aspects of the construction industry.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be South African citizens.
- Be studying towards an undergraduate or postgraduate qualification.
- Be studying in one of the listed construction or engineering fields.
- Be entering their second year, third year or postgraduate studies in 2027.
- Be studying at a recognised and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa.

- Current qualifications and/or academic results from the beginning of their studies.
- Curriculum Vitae including studies and/or work experience.
- Personal introduction and background information.
