About the Hesto Engineer in Training Programme 2026
Hesto is looking for dynamic and enthusiastic graduates to join its Engineering Department through the Engineer in Training Programme. This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates who want to gain practical experience in the automotive sector and build a strong foundation in engineering, production, and manufacturing.
Successful candidates will work within the Engineering Departments at Hesto Harnesses and will also take part in performance assessments, reviews, and process improvement initiatives in the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Perform duties within the Engineering Departments at Hesto Harnesses
- Undergo performance assessments and reviews
- Conduct administrative duties and process improvement initiatives in allocated areas
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must have completed a qualification in the relevant field
- Must have an average of 60% or more for the qualification
- Must have no outstanding tuition fees
- Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Must submit a Statement of Results from the institution
- Must have no previous internship or graduate experience
- Must have no criminal record
Required Qualification
Applicants must have one of the following qualifications:
- BEng in Industrial Engineering
- BSc Engineering in Industrial Engineering
