About the Electrical Apprentice Programme

The Electrical Apprentice will assist the electrical team with incidents reported through the Control and Helpdesk Administrator.

The role focuses on electrical maintenance, installations, fault finding and ensuring that required safety standards are followed and maintained.

The programme provides practical exposure under the supervision of qualified electrical personnel.

Key Responsibilities

Successful applicants will assist with:

  • Planning and preparing for electrical installations.
  • Wiring and connecting electrical equipment.
  • Working with control systems.
  • Testing electrical equipment and installations.
  • Inspecting electrical systems.
  • Commissioning electrical installations.
  • Maintaining electrical equipment and control systems.
  • Carrying out fault-finding activities.
  • Supporting qualified electricians during practical work.
  • Following safety procedures and standards.

Apprentices will progressively carry out activities with increasing independence while remaining under supervision.

Experience Requirements

  • At least 3–6 months of experience in an electrical environment.
