The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) is inviting applications from unemployed graduates to join its 24-month Internship Programme in Finance and Transformation.
Closing Date: 15 August 2025
Location: Eastern Cape, Gauteng, and Western Cape.
Stipend: R8,000 per month
1. Finance Internship (x2 posts)
Locations:
- Eastern Cape: 20 Shoreward Drive, Baywest, Gqeberha (x1)
- Gauteng: 38 Ida Street, Menlo Park, Pretoria (x1)
Minimum Requirements:
- NQF Level 6 in Accounting or Finance
- No previous internship experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with Accounts Payable, including checking payment certificates, capturing invoices, preparing payment proposals, and reconciling accounts
- Assist with Accounts Receivable, including customer account creation, invoice management, debt follow-up, and reconciliations
- Support Asset Management, including asset verification, tagging, and preparing write-off memos
- Perform general administration, including audit preparation, meeting secretariat duties, and stakeholder liaison

2. Transformation Internship (x3 posts)
Locations:
- Western Cape: 1 Havenga Street, Oakdale, Bellville (x1)
- Eastern Cape: 20 Shoreward Drive, Baywest, Gqeberha (x2)
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration / Public Management or equivalent qualification
- No previous internship experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Supplier Development Desk, responding to SMME queries via the Transformation Portal, phone, and walk-ins
- Maintain query and response registers, and provide information on transformation initiatives
- Monitor queries for trend analysis
- Attend meetings, take minutes, and support transformation reporting
- Assist with tender information collection and administrative tasks for the Transformation Unit
