The ASSMANG Khumani Mine Portable Skills Training Programme 2026 is a 12-month structured learnership designed to equip young South Africans with practical and transferable artisan skills.
This programme focuses on developing technical competencies that can be used across different industries, giving participants a strong foundation for long-term employment in mining and engineering.

Available Training Fields
Participants will receive training in the following trades:
- Fitter and Turner
- Plater / Welder
- Diesel Mechanic

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must have a valid South African ID
- Must provide proof of residence
- Must submit a completed application form
