The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites applications from suitably qualified graduates for the Design and Construction Internship Programme 2025.

Internship Overview

- Stipend: R8,000.00 per month

The main objective of this internship is to provide support in project administration across multiple projects, while developing excellent stakeholder relationships to achieve SANRAL’s business goals.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify, applicants must:
- Hold a National Diploma in Project Management and/or Civil Engineering
- Have no prior work experience (graduates only)
- Not have previously participated in any Internship Programme
- Reside close to the relevant SANRAL Provincial Office (placement will consider proximity)
Key Responsibilities
As an intern, you will be expected to:
- Provide administrative support to the Engineering Team
- Attend and participate in project meetings, and record minutes
- Assist Project Managers with editing tender documents and preparing draft presentations
- Support SCM with technical corrections and additions for Addenda
- Upload and manage documents on SANRAL’s EDMS / OpenText system
- Ensure compliance with audit requirements by providing accurate project information
- Assist with document profiling, correspondence, agendas, and reports
- Handle travel arrangements (local and international) for Project Managers
- Develop a strong understanding of SANRAL’s operations
