About the Programme
The AM Security Learnership Programme is a skills development initiative designed to equip unemployed youth between the ages of 18 to 30 years with occupational qualifications and real-world experience. Participants will undergo classroom-based learning and on-the-job training to prepare for a career as a Security Officer.
This opportunity is open to Black, Indian, and Coloured males and females residing near Strand.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be unemployed
- Not be registered for any qualification or other learnership
- Have Matric (Grade 12) with English and a minimum Level 4 in all subjects
- Be a South African citizen with a valid SA ID
- Be between 18 and 30 years of age
- Not be PSIRA registered
- Have no criminal record
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills
- Computer literacy in MS Office, email, and internet is an added advantage
- Be able to work independently and show initiative
- Reside close to Strand
