The National Skills Fund (NSF), under the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), invites unemployed South African graduates to apply for the Graduate Internship and Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Programme for the 2025/2026 to 2026/2027 financial years.
This programme provides valuable workplace exposure to graduates in their field of study. People living with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
Closing Date: 29 August 2025
Stipends:
- Graduate Interns: R7,860.40 per month
- WIL Students: R6,659.40 per month
Location: Pretoria Head Office & Regional Offices across South Africa
Internship Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be South African citizens
- Be unemployed and have never participated in any public service internship programme
- Hold the relevant National Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or N6 Certificate in the field applying for
- Have proof of academic qualifications (foreign qualifications must be SAQA-evaluated)
- Be available for a 24-month fixed-term contract
