About the Sanlam Data, AI and Engineering Academy
The Sanlam Data, AI and Engineering Academy is a 13-month accelerated development programme designed to give graduates the opportunity to develop technical, analytical, and business skills while solving real business problems within Sanlam’s Analytics and Group Technology ecosystems.

1. Data and AI

Minimum Requirements
- South African citizen.
- Degree completed or to be completed by end of 2025.
- No more than 12 months’ professional working experience (excluding in-service training).
- Relevant degrees in:
- Information Technology / Computer Science
- Data Science / Data Analytics / Business Intelligence
- Statistics / Mathematics / Finance / Actuarial
- Industrial / Electrical / Chemical / Civil / Mechanical Engineering (BEng)
Beneficial knowledge: Python, Java, .Net, SQL, data analysis & visualisation, business process analysis.
