uPhongolo Local Municipality invites South African unemployed graduates to apply for the Financial Internship Programme 2025.

Internship Location: uPhongolo Municipality, Pongola, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa
Stipend/Salary: R100 000 per annum (all-inclusive)
Internship Requirements
- Matric, BCom in Commerce, Accounting, Economics, Business Management or SCM, or National Diploma in Commerce, Accounting, Economics, Business Management or SCM.
- Must be computer literate.
- No prior experience required.
- Interns will work under the direct supervision of the Chief Financial Officer.
- Preference will be given to local community applicants.

- Assisting in implementing GRAP and budget reforms.
- Preparing VAT reconciliation.
- Assisting with monthly and annual financial statements.
- Performing reporting, expenditure and revenue management.
- Supporting supply chain/procurement management.
- Developing and implementing financial/budget policies.
- Carrying out other duties as directed by supervisors.
