Internship Overview
This internship offers hands-on exposure within Macsteel’s Shipping Department, focusing on imports, exports, logistics coordination, and administrative support. Interns will gain a solid understanding of shipping documentation, transport processes, and customer order handling.
Minimum Requirements
- National Diploma or Degree in a relevant field
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (read, write, speak)
- Aged 20–28 years
- Available to commit to the full 12-month programme
- Must meet all criteria (merit-based intake)
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform general administrative duties in the shipping department
- Assist with receiving and reviewing client sales orders
- Prepare and process customer documentation
- Ensure delivery notes match export documentation
- Update and maintain transport rate registers
- Track shipments and support logistics coordination
- Review sales orders vs delivery notes and assist with issuing credit notes
2. Intern – Demand Planner (Ref: MCS260205-2)

- Willing and able to complete a 12-month internship

- Assist with administrative tasks in the demand planning department
