About the Goldwind Bursary Programme – Fields Covered
Goldwind Science & Technology is inviting students to apply for bursary funding for the 2026 academic year.
Two types of bursaries will be awarded for undergraduate studies in the following fields:
NESA Bursary (BTech studies in):
- Automation or Mechatronics
- Bachelor of Development Studies with ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance)
- Computer Science
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronics Engineering
4RE Bursary (BCom studies in):
- Business Administration
- Business Management
- Economics
- Finance
- Human Resources
- Marketing
Eligibility Requirements for the Goldwind Bursary
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements (failure to meet all requirements will result in the application being unsuccessful):
- You must be a South African citizen
- You must have completed Matric
- You must be studying towards an undergraduate qualification in one of the listed fields
- You must be registered at a recognised and accredited higher education institution in South Africa

Complete the application form and submit it together with clear certified copies of the following supporting documents:
- South African ID document
- Matric certificate
- Latest academic transcript or record (on official institution letterhead or logo)
- Latest tuition fee statement
- Proof of tertiary registration
- Parents’ or guardians’ ID documents
- Parents’ or guardians’ proof of household income (payslips, financial statements, or affidavit if unemployed)
- Two motivational letters:
- One explaining why you chose your field of study
- One explaining why you are applying for the Goldwind bursary
