Engineering Learnership Disciplines
The following Engineering Learnerships (x3) are available:
- Electrical
- Plater / Welder (Boilermaker)
- Fitting and Machinery
Job Key Performance Areas
Successful learners will be expected to:
- Deliver personal performance in line with the approved training programme
- Comply with company rules, regulations, and safety standards
- Participate fully in both theoretical and practical learning components
Conditions of Appointment
Applicants must be willing and able to successfully undergo:
- The selection process
- Interviews
- Screening and psychometric assessments
- Medical certificate of fitness assessment
Additional requirements:
- A valid driver’s licence will be an advantage
- Applicants must be from VKLM or within a 50 km radius of the operation
Minimum Qualifications
To be considered, applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
- Grade 12 / Standard 10 with:
- An E symbol or
- 40% and higher pass in English and Mathematics
OR
- N2 qualification with all four subjects completed
- Trade theory subject is compulsory
