Fields Covered by the Isanti Glass Bursary 2026
Bursaries will be awarded to female students studying in the following fields:
- Chemical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Materials Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
What the Bursary Covers
The Isanti Glass Bursary will provide funding for:
- Tuition fees
- Final-year project costs (the project must be based on glass manufacturing)
- Stipends for food and transport
In addition, successful bursary recipients will have the opportunity to participate in vacation work, gaining valuable industry exposure within the glass manufacturing environment.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet all of the following minimum criteria:
- Must be female
- Must be studying towards a qualification in one of the Engineering fields listed above
- Must be entering their 4th year of study in 2026
- Must have achieved a minimum overall average of 65–75% in their most recent results
- Preference will be given to Employment Equity (EE) candidates
Failure to meet all the above requirements will result in the application not being considered.

- Motivational letter supporting the application
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
