About the Apprenticeship Programme
Vopak Terminal Durban & Lesedi is offering a structured 4-year Apprenticeship Programme aimed at TVET college students who want to gain practical experience in the Petrochemical and Tank Storage industry.
The programme is designed to:
- Provide hands-on structured learning
- Develop technical skills across world-class facilities
- Build the next generation of technical experts
- Prepare apprentices for a Trade Test qualification

- 1 x Electrical Apprentice
What You Will Do as an Apprentice
As part of the programme, you will:
- Gain practical exposure in electrical operations within a petrochemical environment
- Develop knowledge and skills related to infrastructure and operations
- Contribute to optimising infrastructure performance
- Complete a structured training programme leading to a Trade Test
The programme runs for 4 years and includes Trade Test preparation and assessment.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Matric with Mathematics and Physical Science
- Completed at least an N6 Certificate in Engineering Studies (Electrical)
