Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) Programme Overview

The SITA Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) Programme is designed to provide students with structured workplace exposure required to complete their academic qualifications.

This programme is ideal for students whose qualifications require Work Integrated Learning (WIL) as a compulsory component before graduation.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Unemployed South African citizens between 18 and 35 years
  • Be registered with a recognised and accredited institution of higher learning
  • Qualification must require Work Integrated Learning as a compulsory component
  • Provide an official letter from the institution confirming the WIL requirement and duration

Preference will be given to:

  • People living with disabilities
  • Whites, Coloured and Indians (in line with Employment Equity Plan)
