Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet ALL of the following criteria:

  • Be unemployed
  • Be aged between 18 and 35 years
  • Be a South African citizen
  • Reside within Mpumalanga Province
  • Have NOT previously participated in:
    • Work Integrated Learning
    • Learnership programmes
    • Government internship programmes
  • Hold a qualification obtained from a public higher education institution:
    • National Diploma (NQF Level 6)
    • Advanced Diploma (NQF Level 7)
    • Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 8)
    • Master’s Degree (NQF Level 9)

Monthly Stipend

Successful interns will receive a monthly stipend of R6 500.

While the internship does not guarantee permanent employment, it significantly improves employability prospects by providing hands-on experience in a government environment.
