The Mthashana TVET College invites qualifying N6 graduates to apply for Funded In-Service Training Opportunities 2026, supported by Services Sector Education and Training Authority (Services SETA) and the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET).

South African TVET graduates looking to complete their National Diploma requirements now have a valuable opportunity to gain real workplace experience. This funded programme is specifically designed to help N6 students transition from classroom learning into practical industry exposure — a compulsory requirement for obtaining a National Diploma qualification.

Business Management (10 Posts)

Management Assistant (10 Posts)

Public Management (10 Posts)

Human Resource Management (10 Posts)

  • Requirement: N6 Certificate in Human Resource Management

Tourism Management (10 Posts)

  • Requirement: N6 Certificate in Tourism Management
  • Reference Number: MTC/SERVICESETA-T5/2026

Applicants must apply for only one post.


Duration and Stipend

Participants will complete:

  • 18 months of structured workplace training
  • Receive a monthly stipend of R5 000

The stipend assists with transport, meals, and basic living costs while candidates gain required industry experience.


Minimum Requirements

To qualify, applicants must:

  • Hold an N6 Certificate in the relevant programme
  • Be a registered or former Mthashana TVET College student
  • Require workplace training to complete their National Diploma
  • Submit all required documents correctly
  • Apply for only one position

Advantage:
Applicants with a confirmed host employer letter may receive preference.

Duties and Responsibilities
