The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (EDTEA) invites South African unemployed graduates to apply for the Tourism Graduate Development Programme (TGDP) 2026.

This programme offers tourism graduates and students requiring in-service training the opportunity to gain 24 months of structured workplace experience in municipalities, tourism agencies, and wildlife reserves across KwaZulu-Natal.
Programme Overview
The Tourism Graduate Development Programme (TGDP) aims to equip unemployed tourism graduates with the practical skills needed to enter the tourism and hospitality industry.
Participants will gain:

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- A three-year Degree or National Diploma in Tourism or related field
- Must be unemployed
- Must be a South African citizen
