Learnership Overview
The YES 4 Youth Learnership provides participants with hands-on exposure to logistics and warehouse operations.
Learners will assist with loading and offloading deliveries, stock handling, operational tasks, and maintaining safety standards while learning how a large logistics company operates.
The programme is designed for motivated individuals willing to learn, grow, and gain workplace experience.
Key Responsibilities
Successful learners will:
- Assist with loading and offloading deliveries according to company procedures
- Follow instructions from team leaders and managers
- Learn and understand client operational requirements
- Use equipment correctly and report any defects
- Record and report non-conformities in customer merchandise
- Follow operating procedures and safe working practices
- Maintain proper housekeeping standards in the workplace
- Adhere to health and safety regulations
- Participate in stock counts and inventory checks
- Complete assigned tasks within required timelines
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must be unemployed
- Must be between 18 and 29 years old
- Must be a BBB-EE candidate
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills in English
Desirable:
- Valid Code 08 driver’s licence
- Forklift or Reach Truck licence
