This graduate placement opportunity is facilitated by KBK Engineers on behalf of N3TC and offers civil engineering graduates the chance to gain practical experience on a major road rehabilitation project.
The programme will run for approximately 10 months, starting in April 2026, and will focus on the Nottingham Road to Midway Road Rehabilitation Project within the Mpofana Local Municipality.
Programme Overview
The N3TC Civil Engineering Graduate Programme aims to provide young engineers with practical exposure to infrastructure development projects.
South Africa’s infrastructure sector continues to face a shortage of professionals with practical engineering site experience, and this initiative helps bridge the gap between academic training and real-world engineering work.
Graduates selected for the programme will work alongside experienced engineers and contractors involved in the rehabilitation of key road infrastructure.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Civil Engineering Diploma or Degree
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must reside in Mpofana Local Municipality
- Must submit the following documents:
- Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Certified copy of ID
- Civil Engineering Diploma or Degree Certificate
- Proof of residential address
