About the Internship
Uber’s Operations team is at the core of how the company moves people, food, and goods. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to work on real-world projects that impact millions of users daily.
As an intern, you will work closely with Operations Managers and collaborate with teams across Mobility and Delivery. You will gain hands-on experience in data analysis, strategic thinking, and execution.
What You Will Do
- Work on real-time, impactful projects that improve operations
- Analyse data and provide insights to support decision-making
- Solve strategic business problems using analytical frameworks
- Experiment with new ideas to improve pricing, demand, and efficiency
- Collaborate with teams such as finance, marketing, product, legal, and customer support
- Contribute to improving experiences for riders, drivers, restaurants, and couriers
Minimum Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programme
- Available to start on 6 July 2026
- Must be able to work full-time for 6 months
- Must have valid work authorization in South Africa (no visa sponsorship)
- Able to transition into a full-time role after the internship (if offered)
