About the Learnership

This HWSETA-funded learnership is a full-time training programme designed to prepare learners for a career as a Phlebotomy Technician.

The programme combines online learning and practical workplace training at Ampath Care Centres, providing both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be under 35 years old
  • Must have Matric with at least 60% in:
    • Pure Mathematics
    • Life Sciences / Biology
    • English
  • Must NOT have qualifications above NQF Level 4
  • Must have a smartphone/device with stable internet access

  • Full-time training (no other employment allowed)
  • Online theoretical classes
  • Practical training at Ampath Care Centres
