About the Learnership Programme
Pepkor Lifestyle, which includes major retail brands such as:
- HiFi Corporation
- Incredible Connection
- Bradlows
- Russells
- Rochester
- Sleepmasters
is offering a 12-month learnership programme aimed at equipping young people with practical retail and workplace skills.
This programme is funded by the Wholesale & Retail SETA (W&R SETA) and provides an opportunity to gain experience in the retail industry.
What You Will Learn
During the programme, learners will be trained in:
- Customer service on the shop floor
- Marketing and merchandising
- Basic English and Mathematics skills
- Operating Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Stock control and loss prevention
- Opening customer accounts
- Understanding the retail environment
Minimum Requirements
To qualify, you must:
- Have a Matric (Senior Certificate)
- Be a South African citizen
- Have no criminal record
- Be willing to learn and work in retail
- Candidates with disabilities are encouraged to apply
Required Documents
Prepare the following:
- Updated CV
- Certified copy of ID
- Certified copies of qualifications
- Academic transcripts (if applicable)
- Doctor’s certificate (for applicants with disabilities)
