The PUTCO Graduate Internship Programme 2026 offers 24 internship opportunities for unemployed graduates to gain structured workplace experience in the transport sector.
This programme runs for 24 months and provides practical exposure across various departments, helping graduates build skills and improve employability.

Operations / Traffic Department
- Locations: Soweto and Pretoria
- Qualifications: Transport Management, Logistics, or equivalent
Accounts Department
- Locations: Soweto and Pretoria
- Qualifications: Accounting or equivalent
Human Resources Department
- Locations: Pretoria and Linbro Park
- Qualifications: Human Resources Management or Personnel Management
Technical Department
- Locations: Soweto and Pretoria
- Qualifications: Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Procurement / Stores Department
- Locations: Soweto, Pretoria, and Head Office
- Qualifications: Supply Chain Management or equivalent
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must:
- Have Grade 12 (Matric)
- Hold a Degree, Diploma, or National Diploma in a relevant field
- Have studied at a recognised TVET College, University of Technology, or Public University
- Be unemployed
- Be under 35 years of age
- Be medically fit
