Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science
  • Full N3 qualification with the following subjects:
    • Engineering Mathematics
    • Engineering Science
    • Mechano-Technology (Trade Theory)
    • Engineering Drawing

Additional Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be medically fit for mining work
  • Pass a Heat Tolerance Screening test
  • Meet all occupational health requirements

Host Community Requirement

Applicants must be residents of one of the following communities:

  • Zuurberkom
  • Thusanang
  • Hillshaven
  • Westonaria
  • Poortjie
  • Simunye
  • Kalbasfontein
  • Jachtfontein
  • Westonaria Borwa

Proof of residence may be required.
