Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science

N3 Qualification Requirements

  • Full N3 with:
    • Engineering Mathematics
    • Engineering Science
    • Engineering Drawing
    • Relevant Trade Theory (Mechanical or Industrial Electronics)

Additional Millwright Requirement

  • Must have 2 trade theory subjects at N3 level (Electrical & Fitting)
  • Plus 3 additional relevant subjects

Additional Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be medically fit for mining work
  • Pass a Heat Tolerance Screening test
  • Meet all occupational health requirements

Host Community Requirement

Applicants must reside in one of the following communities:
