Bidfreight Port Operations (BPO) is offering a 12-month Internship Programme aimed at equipping young graduates with practical workplace experience in the port logistics and maritime industry.
This structured programme is ideal for graduates who want to build careers in shipping, logistics, and port operations, while gaining hands-on exposure in a professional environment.
Start Date: 01 July 2026
Duration: 12 Months (Fixed-Term Contract)
Fields of Internship
Opportunities are available in the following fields:
- Finance / Accounting
- Human Resources
- SHERQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Risk and Quality)
- Mechanical Engineering
Internship Locations
Successful candidates will be placed at one of the following ports:
- Durban
- Richards Bay
- Gqeberha
- Saldanha Bay
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a South African citizen
- Aged between 18 and 29 years
- Currently unemployed
- Hold a relevant tertiary qualification
- Minimum 60% academic average
