Key Responsibilities
As an HR Intern, you will:
- Provide daily administrative support to the HR team
- Maintain employee records (contracts, leave, training)
- Assist with recruitment processes (advertising, screening, interviews)
- Support onboarding of new employees
- Handle data capturing, filing, and document management
- Assist with payroll preparation (timesheet verification)
- Support training sessions and staff wellness initiatives
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and labour legislation
- Assist with employee relations and disciplinary processes
Minimum Requirements
To qualify, applicants must have:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Relevant Diploma (N6 Certificate) from a recognised TVET College
- Basic understanding of labour legislation (e.g., BCEA, EEA, OHSA)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
