About the Eskom Plant Maintenance Programme
The Eskom Learner Programme is a 2-year structured technical training opportunity within the Turbo Gen Services (Plant Maintenance) division.
This programme is designed to provide hands-on experience in engineering, maintenance, and power plant operations, preparing learners for careers in the energy sector.

Minimum Requirements
To qualify, applicants must have:
- S4 Qualification in one of the following:
- Mechatronics
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronics (C&I)
- Advantage: Electrical (Power Plant) specialisation
- Experience: Not required
Required Skills and Knowledge
Technical Knowledge:
- Ability to use mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation measuring tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and tolerances
- Basic understanding of quality systems
- Knowledge of technical specifications and standards
Skills:
- Strong engineering and technical skills
