Motus Toyota Bedfordview is offering an exciting Level 1 Apprenticeship opportunity for aspiring Motor Mechanic Technicians.

The programme is designed for individuals passionate about vehicle repairs and automotive engineering who want to gain practical training and technical skills within the automotive industry.

Successful candidates will undergo an apprenticeship training programme for up to three years while working under the supervision of experienced technicians.

Key Responsibilities

Successful apprentices will:

  • Assist technicians with vehicle repairs
  • Remove and replace vehicle parts and components
  • Jack up vehicles and place trestles safely
  • Assist with oil changes and lubrication under supervision
  • Remove and replace wheels, batteries, filters, and other components
  • Attend prescribed technical and level training courses
  • Assist with workshop housekeeping
  • Maintain tools and equipment
  • Follow safety procedures and workshop standards

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • Grade 12 with:
    • Pure Mathematics
    • Physical Science
  • Clear criminal record

Added Advantages
