Moses Kotane Research Institute Digital Centre Facilitator Programme 2026
The Moses Kotane Research Institute (MKRI) is offering Experiential Learner opportunities for Digital Centre Facilitators across various digital centres in KwaZulu-Natal.
This programme is designed to provide practical ICT workplace experience to graduates with qualifications in Information Technology and related fields.
Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of R7 000 for the duration of the 24-month programme.

Successful applicants may be placed at the following centres:
- Inkosi Iangalibalele Digital Centre
- Edumbe Digital Centre
- Umkhuze Digital Centre
- Kokstad Digital Centre
- Impofana Digital Centre

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- NQF Level 7 qualification in:
- Information Technology
- Or related field
- 0–2 years ICT facilitation experience
Added Advantage
- Valid driver’s licence
This opportunity is suitable for recent graduates and entry-level ICT candidates.
Required Skills and Competencies
Candidates should demonstrate knowledge in:
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Word processing
- Spreadsheet applications
- Presentation software
- Computer hardware and software maintenance

Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will assist with:
- Facilitating ICT training at Digital Centres
- Monitoring learner attendance and performance
- Supporting learner development programmes
- Performing administration and reporting duties
- Assisting Digital Centre Supervisors
- Supporting digital literacy initiatives within communities
