About the Discovery Learnership Programme
The Discovery Long Term Insurance Learnership Programme offers unemployed youth the opportunity to gain workplace experience while completing a nationally recognised qualification in the financial services sector.
Successful learners will complete the:
- FETC: Long Term Insurance
- NQF Level 4 Qualification

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Mathematics minimum Level 4 (50%)
- English minimum Level 4 (50%)
- Mathematical Literacy minimum Level 5 (60%)
- Second language minimum Level 4 (50%)
Additional Requirements
Candidates must:
- Be between 18 and 25 years old
- Be unemployed
- Not be studying full-time
- Not have completed a previous learnership
- Have good written and verbal English communication skills
- Have basic computer skills, especially:
- MS Excel
- MS Outlook
Having an incomplete tertiary qualification will be an added advantage.
