ALPLA South Africa is currently recruiting unemployed South African youth for various Youth Employment Service (YES) Programme opportunities. These programmes are designed to provide practical workplace experience, skills development, and industry exposure to young people looking to build successful careers in manufacturing, administration, engineering, and business operations.
The YES Programme offers participants the opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working alongside experienced professionals in a world-class manufacturing environment.
Available ALPLA YES Programme Opportunities 2026
Industrial Engineering Support (YES Programme)
Location: Lanseria, Johannesburg North
Main Purpose:
To support industrial engineering activities by assisting with process analysis, time studies, line balancing, layout improvements, and waste reduction initiatives.
Requirements:
- South African unemployed youth
- Aged between 18 and 34 years
- Grade 12
- Relevant Industrial Engineering Diploma or Degree
- Must not have participated in the YES Programme before
- Applicants should reside in Cosmo City, Diepsloot, Randburg, Roodepoort, Krugersdorp and surrounding areas
Skills Development Facilitator and Administrator
Location: Johannesburg North
Main Purpose:
To provide support with training administration, learner coordination, SETA compliance, and reporting processes in line with organisational skills development objectives.
Mould Repair Technician (YES Programme)
Location: Johannesburg North
Main Purpose:
To assist with mould repair activities and support maintenance functions within the manufacturing environment.
Operations Administrator (YES Programme)
Location: Durban
Main Purpose:
To provide administrative and operational support to ensure accurate record-keeping, efficient office coordination, and smooth day-to-day operations within the plant.
B-BBEE Administrator (YES Programme)
Location: Johannesburg North
Main Purpose:
To support the coordination and administration of the company’s B-BBEE compliance, reporting, and documentation processes while gaining practical workplace experience.
Millwright (YES Programme)
Location: Johannesburg North
Main Purpose:
To maintain plant production equipment and ensure operational reliability through preventative and planned maintenance.
Receptionist Assistant (YES Programme)
Location: Johannesburg North
Main Purpose:
To provide professional reception, visitor management, communication, and administrative support while gaining valuable workplace experience.
Quality Support (YES Programme)
Location: Johannesburg North
Main Purpose:
To support quality assurance processes by maintaining product conformity, reducing waste, and ensuring compliance with operational standards.
