New Age Engineering Solutions is inviting suitably qualified unemployed youth to apply for its Apprenticeship Programme 2026. This programme aims to develop aspiring artisans through structured workplace training, practical workshop experience, and off-the-job learning opportunities.

The apprenticeship programme is designed for candidates from TVET Colleges, FET Colleges, and accredited training institutions who have completed relevant engineering qualifications and wish to pursue careers in the engineering sector.

  • Boilermaker
  • Welder
  • Pipe Fitter

About the Apprenticeship Programme

The New Age Engineering Solutions Apprenticeship Programme is a skills development initiative aimed at training and developing successful candidates into qualified artisans.

Successful apprentices will receive:

  • Structured workplace training
  • Practical workshop exposure
  • Technical and trade-specific development
  • Off-the-job training
  • Industry experience within the engineering sector

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following minimum qualification requirements:

  • Technical Grade 12 with Mathematics; OR
  • Engineering Science or Full N2 Engineering Certificate (Four Subjects) with relevant trade theory; OR
  • Technical trade theory programme quality assured by a SETA and deemed equivalent to NQF Level 3; OR
  • Relevant Engineering NC(V) Certificate with seven subjects at NQF Level 3; OR
  • Technical Grade 11 with Mathematics, Science, Language and related trade theory subject.
