Minimum Qualification Requirements
Applicants must meet one of the qualification pathways below.
Option 1: Grade 12
Applicants with Grade 12 must have:
English, with the ability to read and write.
Pure Mathematics.
Physical Science.
Engineering Graphic Design will be an advantage.
Technical subject such as Welding or Platers Theory will be an advantage.
Mathematics Literacy will not be accepted.
Option 2: N3 Engineering Qualification
Applicants with an N3 Engineering qualification must have:
English.
Engineering Mathematics N3.
Engineering Science N3.
Trade-related Theory Subject N3, which will be advantageous.
Option 3: NCV Level 4
Applicants with NCV Level 4 must have:
English NCV Level 4 or First Additional Language NCV Level 4.
Mathematics Level 4, Pure Mathematics.
Engineering Science Level 4.
Engineering Processes Level 4.
Professional Engineering Practice Level 4.
Applied Engineering Technology Level 4.
Trade-related Theory Subject, compulsory.
