AGSA Young Professionals CA Programme 2027
Auditor-General South Africa is offering fixed-term SAICA training contracts to candidates who want to complete their articles and gain practical auditing experience within South Africa’s Supreme Audit Institution.
Successful Trainee Auditors will work alongside experienced audit professionals while developing technical, financial and professional skills.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants should preferably:
- Hold a Certificate in Theory of Accounting (CTA) or Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (PGDA).
- Be studying towards a CTA or SAICA-endorsed undergraduate degree.
- Be eligible to register for the Initial Assessment of Competence (IAC).
- Be residing in South Africa.

Trainee Auditor Duties
Successful candidates will support audit teams with activities including:
