NTE is offering an apprenticeship opportunity for a young person interested in qualifying as an Electrician.
The successful applicant will undergo a structured:
3-year apprenticeship programme
which combines formal college training with practical workplace experience at the factory.
At the end of the programme, the apprentice will work towards completing a trade test to qualify in the relevant trade.

The following opportunity is available:
Electrician – X1 Post
The apprenticeship is designed to provide the theoretical and practical training required to work towards becoming a qualified artisan.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12.
- Mathematics.
- Physical Science.
- N2 qualification with a relevant trade theory subject.
- Be between 18 and 23 years old.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Self-management attributes.
- A hard-working attitude.
- A high level of commitment.
Training Programme
Successful candidates will undergo three years of structured training consisting of:
- Formal training at a registered college.
- Practical workplace training at the factory.
- On-the-job coaching and mentoring.
- Training under the supervision of a qualified artisan.
- Exposure to electrical services and maintenance activities.
- Preparation towards completing the applicable trade test.
Roles and Responsibilities
The apprentice will be expected to:
- Participate in three years of theoretical and practical training.
- Attend formal training at a registered college.
- Complete practical workplace training at the factory.
- Work under the guidance of qualified artisans.
- Assist qualified artisans with services while learning the trade.
- Participate fully in coaching and mentoring provided by the factory engineering team.
