Cape Winelands District Municipality is offering a one-year Disaster Management Internship to an appropriately qualified candidate.

The successful intern will support the Disaster Management Division with administrative, logistical and operational activities linked to disaster response, risk reduction, stakeholder engagement, early warning, training and awareness.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have a:

  • National Diploma or relevant qualification in Disaster Management.
  • Good level of computer literacy.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.

  • Ability to work in difficult or inclement weather conditions.

A valid Code B driver’s licence will serve as a recommendation.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
