Clover is offering unemployed youth an opportunity to gain 12 months of practical workplace experience through its partnership with the YES Programme.
Successful candidates will be placed within Clover’s Secondary Distribution Department at its Atlas branches.
The programme provides exposure to distribution operations, route monitoring, administration and transport-related systems.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be between 18 and 33 years old.
- Have Grade 12 / Matric.
- Be currently unemployed.
- Not have participated in a learnership with another organisation before.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will assist with monitoring drivers’ adherence to planned routes through the Daily Route Management system.
This includes monitoring unauthorised stops, speeding, excessive idling, entry into restricted areas and harsh braking, and escalating incidents to the relevant managers.
Learners may also monitor delivery turnaround times, planned versus actual kilometres, driving hours, standing time and route sequence compliance.
Other duties include vehicle-to-route allocation, route allocation handovers and transferring open calls or queries to the next shift.
Daily Route Management System Duties
Participants may also be required to monitor the DRM system by checking reports used for driver debriefing and identifying incorrect geo-fencing.
They may monitor inactive routes and non-reporting units and extract daily, weekly and monthly reports for the Project Manager.
