OCJ Graduate Internship Programme 2027–2029

The Office of the Chief Justice is recruiting qualifying unemployed graduates for a 24-month Graduate Internship Programme running from:

01 April 2027 to 31 March 2029

Successful applicants will receive practical workplace experience within the Office of the Chief Justice and various courts and provincial service centres.

The monthly stipend for all the advertised positions is:

R8,174.75 per month

Applicants must be unemployed graduates, South African citizens and must not have previously participated in an internship programme.

Important Date Clarification

The supplied advert describes the programme as running from 01 April 2027 to 31 March 2029, which is a 24-month period.

However, the introductory paragraph also refers to the “2025/2027 financial year.” This appears inconsistent with the stated programme dates. Applicants should rely on the clearly stated internship period of 01 April 2027 to 31 March 2029 and consult the official DPSA Circular 33 of 2026 if clarification is required.
