Bushbuckridge Local Municipality Internship Programme 2026

Bushbuckridge Local Municipality is offering internship opportunities for a period of 12 months.

The programme is funded by LGSETA and successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of:

R6,500 per month

A total of 8 internship opportunities are available across Entrepreneurship and Civil Engineering.

BCom Entrepreneurship Internship

Key Performance Areas for Entrepreneurship Interns

Successful candidates will report to the LED Manager and may assist with stakeholder communication and enquiries.

They may also assist with preparing minutes, agendas and meeting documentation, data collection and capturing, business development activities and administration.

Interns will also participate in entrepreneurship programmes, workshops and meetings.

Civil Engineering Internship

Stipend: R6,500 per month
Duration: 12 months

Applicants must have:

Grade 12

and

Bachelor of Civil Engineering

Key Performance Areas for Civil Engineering Interns

Successful candidates will report to the General Manager: Technical Services.

Interns may assist engineers and site supervisors with daily construction activities and gain exposure to construction methods, procedures and engineering practices.

They may also assist with site inspections, monitoring construction progress, setting out, surveying and checking levels on site.
