Documents Required
For both nursing programmes, applicants must submit:
- The appropriate application form;
- The appropriate rating scale;
- Certified copies of educational qualifications, including Matric or National Senior Certificate;
- Proof of residence; and
- Identity document.
R.171 applicants who are Enrolled Nurses employed by the Department and applying through the applicable RPL route must also submit the required RPL form. Pasted markdown
Applicants should read the 2027 prospectus for their chosen programme for the applicable admission and subject requirements rather than relying on requirements from previous nursing intakes. Pasted markdown
Application Fee
Both 2027 advertisements specify a non-refundable administration fee of R150.
Applicants must consult the relevant programme prospectus for the banking details and attach proof of payment to their application. The advertisements also state that no payment is required when applying to be registered for training as a nurse. Pasted markdown
