About ABSA Unemployed Youth Learnerships 2026
ABSA is inviting applications for the Microinsurance Sales Consultant Learnership 2026.
The learnership is aimed at unemployed youth who want to gain practical skills, knowledge and workplace experience in the microinsurance and financial services industry.
Successful learners will receive exposure to sales, customer engagement, compliance and community development initiatives.
Purpose of the Learnership
The purpose of this learnership is to develop and equip unemployed youth with the skills needed to succeed in microinsurance and financial services.
As a Microinsurance Sales Consultant Learner, participants will help promote accessible and affordable insurance solutions to underserved communities.
The role focuses on building trust with customers, delivering excellent service and supporting clients throughout the insurance lifecycle.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Matric / Grade 12
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Commerce, Management Studies or related fields
- Must be currently unemployed
- Must not be studying
- Clear criminal record
- Clear credit record
- Valid driver’s licence
- Willingness to travel within Gauteng or KwaZulu-Natal
