Job Description:
- Train and gain knowledge and skills in the Mechanical Fitter trade.
- Participate in the formal training plan for the apprenticeship programme and make reasonable progress to achieve the competencies in the training plan.
- Comply with the Seta requirements (Unit Standards) for the successful completion of the Apprenticeship programme.
- Adhere to Health, Safety and Environmental procedures, work instructions, guidelines, regulations/legislation, and programs.
- Medically fit to work in a chemical environment (working at heights and in confined spaces).
Qualifications & Experience:
- Matric with Mathematics and Physical Science.
- N3 Certificate with English, Engineering Science, Maths, N3 Trade Theory in Fitting or Machining.
- Applicants must be unemployed, between the age of 18 and 35.
